No gas flow, no oven ignition, no heat.
Problem details: Oven wouldn't ignite or heat up. Burners on top range worked OK so gas supply was good. I used a current clamp probe to measure the current flowing to the oven igniter. I saw less than 0.5Amps flowing. Actual amperage should be much higher than that (~2amps). *****Step 1****** slide oven away from wall and unplug from AC. *****Step 2****** remove two bolts holding the igniter in place. Set these aside in a safe place. ******Step 3****** remove four phillips screws holding a protective plate on the back of the oven. ******Step 4******** unplug igniter. *******Step 5*** plug in new igniter ********Step 6******** secure igniter with the two bolts from step 2. ******Step 7 ********* Reattach the protective cover on the back. Careful not to pinch the igniter's power cable or the gas line. ********Step 8 ********** Plug in and test the oven.

Igniter didn't engage and wouldn't ignite gas.
I removed the protective shield from the lower right rear corner of the range, and uncoupled the old igniter and fed the igniter wires into the oven. I then removed the internal oven parts to expose the igniter. I removed the gas tube with the igniter attached, from the oven. I removed the old igniter from the tube and attached the new i gniter . I reattached the tube into the oven, and fed the wires of the igniter through the hole in the back of oven, and reattached the igniter wires into its coupling. I then turned the oven on and the igniter worked, so I reassembled the oven. It's working fine, Thanks.

Gas oven would take 30 minutes are more to get to 350 degrees
Pulled range away from wall to access rear. Removed lower right hand cover to access igniter plug and unplugged. On inside of oven, removed racks, removed bottom by lifting up from rear. Removed 2 screws from heat shield, slide forward and lifted from rear. Removed single screw holding front of gas manifold and removed gas manifold with i gniter attached. The new igniter did not come with heat shields over wires. Used small screw driver to remove pins from plug to slide off heat shields from wires. I started to just cut wires but figured it would be good to practice on old part. Re-assembled all and worked fine

Ignitor was bad, gas oven wouldn't ignite gas
After carefully pulling gas oven out from wall, turn gas valve off ( if not sure where to turn off, call service man to make repair) this is an easy repair u can do it yourself! Once gas valve is off, u plug oven from electric outlet. Pull oven drawer out completely, this will give u easy access to igniter located in center back area , there is two screws holding igniter to bracket ( u will need a nut driver to remove screws), once the screws are off, u will have two wires going through the back wall of oven, in the back of oven ( there is a silver cover with four screws holding cover, unscrew them remove cover, once this is off u will see where the two wires are connected from the igniter, unplug those wires with needle nose pliers (remember ur power cord must not be plugged in) once those are disconnected , go back to drawer area and pull igniter out, replace with new part, put two first screws back in with nut driver, now return to back plug two wires back onto areas where u removed old, put silver plate cover back on , plug oven in, turn gas valve back on, push stove back in place, ( just a note u will have to reset ur clock) but now regardless of clock setting your oven should work , once u press bake or broil , bake requires u to set a temp, the job is easy, ordering and getting the part was easy thanks to this company

Oven would not turn on for a long tome (Approx 3 minutes)
First, you must move the oven away from the wall. You need access to the back of the oven. Next remove the two shelves from the oven. Pop the floor pan by grasping the back of the pan using the vent holes and lifting up. Than pan is attached with simple spring grips. The next thing to do after removing the pan is to remove the two scr ews that are in the forward part of the burner screen. Once these screws are removed, slide the screen forward to release the screen from the two slots in the back wall. After removing the screen, find the igniter. It should be on the left-rear of the burner tube. Two screws are needed to be removed. They are probably 1/4 inch heads. Remove these two screws and place the unit on the bottom of the oven. Now it is time to go to the back of the oven and disconnect the Molex connector. It is made of nylon and polarized. Thread the disconnected plug through the oven wall. Go back to the oven itself and remove the old igniter. Install the new igniter by attaching it to the burner bar with the two screws. Tighten them, but do not over-tighten them. Thread the connector through the wall slot and re-connect the connector to the plug on the back side of the oven. Now reverse the operation and re-install the burner screen observing the direction. "V" shape should go down. Place the screws back in the forward part of the screen. Re-install the pan by sliding the pan into the forward part of the bottom frame and press down the pan in the rear to slide the pan into the spring grips. Put the shelves back and you are ready for the "smoke test:" The igniter should fire up the oven burner in about 30 seconds or less. Time to do the is about 15 minutes depending on getting access to the rear of the oven.

oven won't light
Pulled range out first disconnected electricity and shut off gas! Removed the bottom piece in oven and heat shield to expose the igniter removed 5/16 screws attaching it to burner. Removed piece on back to expose connection of igniter. I noticed that the insulation of one wire was frayed where it went through the sheet metal. after removi ng the old igniter I used hi temp silcone around the opening to prevent it from rubbing on the sharp edge. Installed the new igniter and replaced everything I had removed. tried the oven it fired right up turn it off push the range back into place savings $250.00 which had been quoted!
