This middle shelf retainer bar attaches to the inside of the refrigerator door and helps to contain items on the shelf inside your appliance, like condiments and small containers. Its approximate size is 26 inches long, 3.5 inches tall, and made of white durable plastic. This part can start to wear or break over time, in which case it should be replaced. This is a beginner repair, that will not take any time at all. Start by removing the old part by pulling the tabs to release it. To install your new shelf, line it up with the shelf indents over the tabs, and gently press it down to lock in place. This is an OEM replacement part that is sold individually.

This is a genuine door shelf retaining bar for a refrigerator. It attaches to the inside of the door on the refrigerator and helps to secure items placed on the shelf. It is made of white plastic and can be easily installed without the use of tools. Start by making sure the projection on the inner door panel fits into the recessed area at the top of the shelf retainer bar. Once they are lined up, press it into place until you hear a snap. This part measures approximately 25-inches wide, 3-inches high, and 5-inches deep. If it breaks, cracks or warps over time, it will need to be replaced. This part is sold as an individual part. We recommend taking this opportunity to inspect the other shelf retaining bars for damage in case they also need to be replaced at the same time.

If opening and closing your refrigerator is difficult, it could be due to a damaged or warped crisper cover front support. This part keeps the crisper shelf in place and mounts to the inside cabinet wall. Sold individually, this part is white in color, measures approximately 1 inch in diameter, and can be used for the front and rear support. The installation of this part is considered easy and should only take a few minutes. You will need a small flat blade screwdriver, putty knife, and soft hammer. Take the crisper and shelf out of the refrigerator first. To remove the old part, start by pushing the locking pin into the interior of the cabinet using the screwdriver, pull the support out with the putty knife. If taking out the pin is difficult, use a flat blade screwdriver to push it down and out of sight, this will not harm your refrigerator. Remove the pin and attach the new support, using a soft hammer to lock the new pin in place.

The drawer track support provides support for the right side of the sliding drawer to help it move open and closed easily. This part is sold individually, so if you also require the left side rail it will need to be ordered separately. It measures roughly 16 inches long by 1 inch high. If it is damaged it might make it difficult to open and close the fresh food drawer. Check the support rails in case something is blocking it. It is important to replace a damaged rail to prevent it from damaging the drawer itself. The only tool required for this repair is a Philips screwdriver. Remove the entire upper shelf from the inside of the fridge. Place the assembly on a flat work surface. Remove the screws on the back holding the back rail in place. Next, disengage the tabs holding the old right side rail in place. When installing the new one, line up the slotted opening on the rail to the tabs on the drawer and push it in until it snaps into place. Reinstall the back rail with screws. Check the operation of the drawer and place it back into the refrigerator.

This dishwasher door gasket is attached to the bottom of the door, creating a strong seal between the tub and the outer edge of the door. This seal is prone to wear and tear due to its constant exposure to water, detergent, and food particles. If the gasket appears cracked, broken, or you notice a leak coming from the door, it will need to be replaced immediately. This gasket measures approximately 23 inches long. For this simple repair, no tools are necessary. Open the dishwasher door and remove the bottom rack. The gasket is located right along the bottom of the door, molded inside the channel. It is held in place in the groove across the bottom. Remove the old gasket by pulling it out with your hands. Take your new silicone gasket and line it up so the notch fits into the groove and slide it in place until it is secure. Reinstall the lower dishrack. We recommend leaving the door closed for a few hours to ensure the gasket is sealed tightly.

This is a genuine OEM white plastic door bin for a refrigerator. It is mounted on the inner door and is designed so it can be easily moved to adjust for additional space as needed. It holds food items, such as bottles and jars. The cold temperatures of the refrigerator can cause plastic to become weak over time, and break. When the door bin is not secure in the inner door panel, it will need to be replaced. This part measures approximately 5.75-inches high, 16-inches wide, and 4.25-inches deep and is sold individually. This is a quick and easy repair, that does not require the use of any tools. The bin attaches to the refrigerator door by the back of the shelf itself.

This is a refrigerator water inlet valve and mounting bracket. It is responsible for releasing water from the supply line when triggered, which makes its way through to the water dispenser and/or icemaker in your refrigerator. It is located behind the refrigerator, connected to the water supply. This part is prone to material fatigue from normal use. A defective water valve could cause a lack of ice production, and your water dispenser to stop working properly. If the solenoids no longer have continuity or the valve is plugged, it will need to be replaced. For this repair, you will need to pull the refrigerator out from the wall and disconnect the water and power connection. Please note that this part may look different than the original but is a manufacturer-approved replacement.

Valve wouldn't fill the ice maker
Old valve used compression fittings on the plastic lines. The new valve uses the push oring fittings which required cutting off the end of each line. The line to the ice maker was quite short to start with and after cutting the end off it was to short which required splicing in a short piece of line. After installation it works fine Read more...

This genuine OEM bake element is located on the bottom of the oven cavity to supply heat for baking. The approximate size is 19-1/2 inches wide by 18-1/2 inches long and has 3-1/2 inch inserts. The element terminals are male quarter inch spade connectors and have push-on wire terminals. If your oven is not heating evenly, the element will not heat, or there is little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace the element. Please remember to disconnect the power to your oven before you start your repair. Next, remove the 2 screws securing the old element, pull it out, and discard. Connect the new element prongs where the old element fit and screw it back in place. This is a very simple repair that anyone can do.
