No high heat drying
Unplug dryer removed upper back panel. Pulled knob off timer. Removed screw under knob. Disconnected plugs on timer removed hold down screw replaced timer reconnect wire s install upper panel install screw under knob install knob pug in dryer works well

called sears parts guy, he said thermostat nor high limit thermostat would cause dryer not to start. Had to be timer or door safety switch,. tled! Said a prayer and ordered new timer switch from this site New timer switch worked perfectly. Then I took apart old timer switch and realized one of the plastic cams had separated from timer dial. If you carefully take apart the timer switch it won't flop out and spring into a million pieces. It is a simple mechanical device with plastic innards, Dryer is working now. Wife happy, me happy. But I have the old timer on my list of things to repair if I retire and get bored.

dryer ran but no heat
checked all parts for continuity everything checked out but timer would not work on fluff no heat so replaced that and it works gr8

Dryer short cycled and would not heat up.
Using a nutdriver I simply removed a total of eight screws, six from the rear of the top console, the two holding the timmer inplace. Disconnected the wires from the timmer. The small flathead screwdriver was used to disconnect the smallest of the wire plugs, by raising the housing just above the tab that locked the plug inplace. Installe

d the new timmer. Reconnected everything in the reverse. Took less then ten minutes and Dryer works like new! Tip: check with customer service to comfrim you are ordering the correct part number needed. You'll be glad you did.
