I want to make a higher fence for this saw. My question is, can I drill through the midsection of the supplied fence (part number 827)?

Hi Steve, thank you for the question. We have concluded that you can drill through the midsection of the supplied fence. You just need to be careful to keep all screws out of the potential saw cut area and some fence also has a locking mechanism inside. Good luck with this repair!
