This is a charcoal water filter for a coffeemaker, which needs to be replaced every sixty days or sixty uses. This part includes two filters total. It is responsible for removing minerals and water impurities. If these impurities are not removed by the filter, it can create a buildup of calcium in the coffee maker, which can become difficult to clean and can impact the flavor of your coffee.
