This is an authentic blade pulley tire. This part is sold individually, however two tires are needed on the bandsaw. If one tire needs to be replaced, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace them both at the same time. The blade pulley tire is what keeps the blade tracking accurately. They are a common wear part that will become brittle or stretched out over time. This leads to the blade coming off the pulleys or not tracking correctly. This is a very simple repair, the tire stretches onto the pulleys, no disassembly required.

This authentically sourced replacement carbon brush has a wire lead, brush spring, and bracket attached. This brush is sold individually, however, your tool requires two brushes to operate. If your motor is running poorly, worn brushes are the most common reason. A worn brush usually shows wear near the wire lead and sometimes has cracks or burns. We highly suggest checking the armature for burns at the same time, as this might indicate a more serious issue with your motor.

The carbon brush is used on a variety of tools and are commonly replaced because they wear out easily with time and use. If your brush is worn out it can affect the motor from working properly and reduce electric braking. Tip: to check if the brush is worn out, inspect the wire lead for cracks, burns and other damage. Refer to the diagram provided by the manufacturer for further installation instructions. *Please note: This part is sold individually. This assembly includes a carbon brush, spring and holder.

This is a genuine Makita replacement part that includes two carbon brushes with wire leads attached. Carbon brushes are essential components in power tools and are among the most commonly replaced parts due to regular wear from friction. Over time, worn brushes can cause a motor to run poorly, operate intermittently, or lose electric braking power. Replacing them can often restore your tool’s performance. A worn brush may appear cracked, pitted, burned, or worn down near the wire lead. It’s always best to replace both brushes at the same time, even if only one shows signs of wear. When installing new brushes, be sure to inspect the armature for any damage such as burns or cracks, which could indicate more serious motor issues.

The shoe assembly is located at the front of the reciprocating saw and helps to direct the blade while you cut. The most common reason this part is replaced is just from simply misplacing it. If the saw is used roughly, the pivot hinge between the mounting bar and the shoe can damage, which can cause the shoe to fall off. Never use your saw without this part intact as it could cause damage to your equipment. For this easy repair, use your Allen wrench to remove the screws and this will allow you to remove the shoe. To install the new shoe assembly, line up the forks with the housing and slide it into position. To finish, tighten the screws back up and it is ready to go.
Pulley Tire

This is an authentic OEM pulley tire for a band saw, sold individually. Two tires are needed on the band saw, so even if only one is worn, we advise replacing both at the same time. The tires are made of rubber to ensure reliable traction to drive the blade safely. This rubber material is prone to wear with time, especially considering its constant contact with metal shavings. If the blade is coming off the pulley or not tracking properly, these are common signs that it is time to be replaced. This is a very quick and easy repair that does not require any tear down of parts or tools. The tire simply stretches onto the pulleys.

Sleeve bearings are located on the blade pulley axles of your bandsaw. If you notice the blade on your bandsaw is not tracking correctly, this is likely a sign that this part needs to be replaced. We recommend inspecting the blade pulley tires at the same time because if they are worn, they can also hinder the tracking of the blade. Each bandsaw has four of these sleeve bearings, however, they are sold separately. We carry only OEM quality parts to ensure proper fit and performance.
