I need the gasket to seal the bottom around the accumulator section. I do not see it called out apart from item 4 in the diagram. I don’t think I need the entire assembly. What are my options? The washer has not been pumping the wash water through the expressors. The motor and pump removes the water. Is this assembly the solution? Walter

Hello Walter, Thank you for the question. Unfortunately the Seal is only sold as part of the Sump With Seal. Whirlpool does not make it separate from the Sump. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

I found melted black utensil on the coil at the bottom all burnt and smelled awful for weeks. Tried vinegar and then lemons but did not stop. I got most all of it off the coil and still many months later the loads smell like this awful plastic, it permeates onto the dishes too. What can I do to eliminate this problem? I never use the heat dry cycle since. And I’m rinsing after the cycle items that I can still smell it on. The silicon spoons really pick up the smell. Do I replace the filter?

Just took my dishwasher apart to clean the filter because My dishes don’t seem to be getting as clean as they used to. The filter is intact and nothing was caked on it or anything….seemed fine. Im also getting a white film that is on the dishes after they are clean. Seems to come off the dishes and glasses with rubbing my finger on them. Any suggestions please and thank you
