This is a protective cover, which protects the air inlet coupler. This OEM part is sold independently. It is needed to keep dust and debris from making its way inside the nailer or stapler and contaminating the parts inside the tool. The cover should be in place over the coupling when the tool is not in use. These covers can start to break down over time, and will need to be replaced to ensure your tool is properly protected.
Carbon Brush With Spring

This is a single carbon brush with a spring. Carbon brushes are what supply electricity to the armature. They are known to wear due to constant rubbing against the commutator, so it should not be a concern if they are in need of a replacement. They should be inspected regularly, especially if your power tool is not functioning properly. A worn brush can cause excessive sparks, however a damaged armature can also cause sparks, so you will need to inspect both parts. This is a simple repair that should only take a few minutes. You will need to remove the brush caps, and then align the new carbon brush in the holder with the tabs. You will need a screwdriver to secure the cap.

This is a carbon brush set for your power tools, most commonly your planer jointer. Two of these brushes are needed for most power tools, and this purchase only includes one. If you are having troubles with electric braking, or motor functions, you should replace your carbon brushes. We recommend replacing both brushes together, to create an even wear. This is a part that is replaced often in power tools because of the constant friction during operation. When making this installation we recommend inspecting the armature for visible damage that could prove larger motor issues.

Broken belt (motor runs, blade didn't turn)
1) Watched YouTube video before ordering parts to confirm my problem and to get an overview of the repair.
2) found 7-step instruction in user manual - worked perfectly (Part# 901608 (014) downloaded PDF) on page 26
Turned saw over and layed on two 2x8s to protect spindle and it case I dropped the saw. Use a helper if you have one but I did not need one.
3) inspected motor brushes per user manual (had spares ready) 4-step instructions (two brushes) on page 25
4) used stiff brush to clean parts and screw shafts while saw was upside down
5) re-assembled, tested saw, double verified that blade tilt was still at Zero degrees when return to 0 and fense and blade were still parallel.

Cleaning and testing took as long as changing the belt and inspecting brushes.

Air leakage from hose
I followed the help from a YouTube video. It was for a slightly different model of P-C air compressor, but didn't really matter. This procedure is quite straightforward. Several screws are removed to access the pump-end of the rubber hose. Use The new hose was somewhat longer than the old one, but I didn't try to cut it down. Be sure to crimp the replacement clamps good and snug! Secure all screws and test the compressor. All good! Read more...

This is a single OEM drain valve for an air compressor. A drain valve is a small device that is usually located at the bottom of the compressor air receiver. The drain valve can be opened or closed, and this allows water to exit the tank. Water builds up if air is left in the tank for an extended period of time, and if left for too long, it can start to rust out the inside of the tank and the drain valve can become clogged with rust or start to corrode. You should be draining the tank each time you use your air compressor to stop this from happening. This is a very quick and simple repair. Use a wrench to remove the old drain valve, and thread the new one into place by hand.

This Switch is an OEM approved replacement part for various tools and models manufactured by Delta, Black and Decker, and Porter Cable. For full compatibility, please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. This Switch has four terminals, a removable safety key, and a compact design for easy installation. The purpose of the switch is to turn the device on/off, as well as playing a role in electric breaking by momentarily reversing electrical polarity. Due to the mechanical internals of switches, they tend to degrade and wear out over time, making them a commonly replaced part in power tools. Common symptoms of a broken switch include: the device has completely stopped functioning, it will not turn on, and turning off intermittently during use. Each Switch is sold individually, and may also be referred to as a Rocker Switch.
