This is a factory-certified oven sensor kit with two harness adapters. Its purpose is to sense the temperature inside the oven. Replacing this part can fix an oven that is not reaching the proper temperature (too hot or not hot enough), not heating evenly, or an oven that will not start. To access this part, you will need access to the back of the range. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the access panel. Once the access panel is removed, you will notice a hole on the right side of the oven where the temperature sensor comes out of the oven. You will need to unplug the wire harness, and then open the oven door, locate it in the upper left corner, and remove the screws holding the temperature sensor in place. Pull the sensor out of the back of the oven, and replace it with your new part.

This flat style oven igniter kit is a genuine OEM replacement part for your gas range. When the igniter glows white hot, the heat opens the gas valve and ignites the fuel heating the burner assembly. If your igniter is only glowing orange or red, or not glowing at all, it will need to be replaced. This kit includes the igniter, ceramic wire nuts, an insulation pad, a metal bracket, and a variety of plug ends. This kit can be used for both short or long igniters, and the bake or broil element. However, it is not compatible with ranges that require round style igniters. The igniter has an amperage between 3.3 and 3.6. The element is very fragile and should be handled with care. Before beginning your repair be sure to disconnect both the power and gas supply to your range.

Wall oven would take a very long time to ignite.
One of the 2 screws that holds the igniter to the burner assembly was stripped and difficult to get out. Other than that it was an easy fix. Read more...

Heating element broke
The repair was a breeze! Removed the two Phillips head screws from the oven wall and pulled the wires in to the oven about 3 inches to ensure that they did not fall behind the oven wall. Disconnected the old bake element and connected the new bake element. Pushed the bake element back in to the oven wall and replaced the screws securing the bake element in place. Biggest problem was where the oven is located in my kitchen and trying to access the inside of the oven, but no problems other than inconvenience. Read more...

Upper Oven Broiler And Bake Elements Not Working
Two screws to remove long oven sensor. Has a convenient plug on the wiring. New sensor came with proper pigtails to hook up to old wiring. Be sure to push the wiring back through the insulation so oven clean feature won't melt the plastic plugs. Two screws also to remove the bake element. Use pliers to remove the spade connectors as they get real tight over time. Wd40 will help. The broil element takes a few more screws to remove. Read more...

Oven light went out
Took old bulb out, but it was so tight that I messed up the socket and had to buy a new one. Thankfully, Customer Service found the correct item for me, even though the local store where I got the stove said the part was not available because it was too old. It was very difficult getting the old socket holder out because of the way it was held in the opening in the back of the stove. I had to compress the flanges one by one and pull it inside the oven to get it out. I thought I only needed the socket and bulb to repair the light, but thankfully again to customer service, the sent me the whole assembly which I needed. Once the old socket holder was out it was a breeze. Installed new holder and socket by pushing into place, installed bulb and connected wires quickly. The little lady is tickled.. Read more...
