Wouldn’t start

Replaced fuel line and filter. Also replaced diaphragms, screens, float, needle and gaskets. It then started but wouldn’t keep running. I had to back out fuel air mix needle completely and spray carb cleaner in these holes. It then ran perfectly. Make sure you count the rounds they are backed off before removing. Read more...

It is common for the cover to wear or crack over time. For this simple repair, press and hold the two latches and pull the cover away from the spool holder. This is a good time to clean all the areas of the cover and spool. Now, to replace this part, press down towards the spool holder to secure the new cover. To ensure it is securely in position, try removing it without pressing down on the latches.
