Read more t mistakes. reposition the new switch and make sure gasket holes are aligned and then install the mounting screws. Note: I had previous issues with possible shorts between the wires on the switches and the main cover after using a burner for an extended time so I add electrical tape to protect the wire mount at the switches. Reinstall the switch plate and cover. flip the cooking surface back over and put back in place. easy job
