How do I know if oven igniter or sensor is the cause of not heating at all
For model number LFGF3052TFA
Hello Trudy, thank you for the question. You can check the oven igniter, part number FIX12071409, and the temperature sensor, part number FIX11731754, for continuity to know if they are faulty or not. We have attached a relevant video that will help you in testing the oven igniter. You may need to watch the video from 1:37 to 2:23. To test the temperature sensor for continuity, place one probe of the multimeter on one terminal of the sensor and the other probe on the other terminal. If the multimeter shows resistance between 1050 to 1100 ohms, then the sensor is functioning properly otherwise, it may need to be replaced. Glad to be of assistance!

Safety valve would not open
I am an HVAC tech by trade so it wasn't difficult to diagnose problem with safety valve. The hard part was being without an oven for a week. Repair was simple and effective--oven works good as new.

We had a transformer go out in our block and made a surge which blew out the electronic oven control
The repair of the oven was really easy . I removed a total of 7 screws with a 1/4 inch nut driver to remove the back cover of the instrument panel. f the old control and put on the new one . I then installed the new oven control by putting the 4 screws back on and plugging back the wires. I then replaced the back cover with the 7 screws and plugged the power back in the outlet, The clock has to be adjusted and your done.
